Jayne Russell

Jayne began healing over 19 years ago, after seeing a healer. They became good friends and more and more Jayne was told she could heal. At first Jayne would sit when healing was being given and people said the healing was stronger when Jayne was present. She also found that animals would come to her, and would be completely relaxed around her.

It was on a visit to the healer that Jayne was told "I'm not giving you healing. You're giving me healing!" Jayne's first thoughts were "he's gone completely mad" but did as he instructed. To her surprise she felt her hands tingling and heat in them. While Jayne was giving the healing, he explained who was with her, and that the more healing she did, the stronger it would become. The results from this first session were good and the painful knee healed.

For some time, Jayne worked as a spiritual healer for both animals and people. Jayne says "by this time I was like a magnet for those needing help in some way or other. The house was never empty."

In 2004, Jayne did her Reiki levels one and two, and in September 2005 she became a Reiki Master Teacher. By now she had opened a New Age Shop in Cumbria, offering healing to people and pets. By April 2006, Jayne had a list of people wanting to do their Reiki Attunements with her, and she began holding regular Attunement courses. In October 2009 Jayne moved back to Pamber Heath near Tadley, Hampshire where she continues her healing work.

Teaching Reiki is still important to her and Jayne works regularly doing courses.
